PomPom Pomeranian Puppy Female in Enon, Virginia

My story
A little ball of fluff!!!

Cute as heck!!!

Feisty and playful!

But, imagine...being dumped with your two other siblings in a lot to fend for yourselves at 6weeks of age.

The original finder saw "something" being dumped by someone in the dusky hours of the night.

The next day, they returned because they were curious.

Luckily for PomPom because by then her other two siblings had been killed by another animal.

PomPom was the only survivor. When she arrived to AMOR rescue, she was so very scared.

We could not touch her for 4 days. Can you imagine being so young a puppy and living through such trauma to not want to be cuddled or touched for 4 days?!!!

Since then PomPom has come around.

She plays well with other puppies.

She is happy and cuddly...but, you still have to earn her trust and love!

There are times where she can be a bit spooked by the other dogs/puppies and she will run off behind a sofa where she will just sit/lay down and watch what is going on.

After a bit of time, once she is sure that all is safe, she will come out or let herself be held and cuddled again.

This is what she had to do to survive that long scary night!

It will take time and love for this little girl to forget about that....can you be the family to help her forget?PomPom is also a sweet and loving puppy.

But, once that has been exhausted she is ready and happy to sit or lay next to you.

Belly rubs and giving you soft little kisses are her faves!Although she was found outside, she is currently not allowed outside.

So, she has learned to go potty on a re-useable, washable potty pad inside the house.

She is a smart girl!!!

She does very well at nap time and sleeping through the entire night without a sound. And if she does make a peep (i.e. whimper/yip bark) it is to be let out...alerting us that she needs to potty.

Bed time is 10pm and she is happy and awake by 7:30am.

Considering her very young age she will need continued training to help her be the best pup that she can be. She's at the perfect age to introduce into any home! She is up to date on vaccines according to age and has received proper deworming several times.

She is microchipped, spayed, and has been given her monthly dose of Sentinel for fleas, ticks, and heartworm.PomPom is ready to be your new family member!!Her actual breed is COMPLETELY unknown.

She could end up being as small as 15pounds or as big as 45 pounds.

Please consider this and make sure your are open to either size and breed. All animals receive a health certificate (stating that a licensed veterinarian saw the pet and deemed it healthy for travel, but is not a promise of perfect health). Please email for an A.M.O.R. application in order to be considered. Please note: this pet is located out of state.
